My inspiration stemmed from a desire to merge playful childhood nostalgia with expressive, narrative-driven art. The illustrations wrapping around the duck explore themes of togetherness, creativity, and mood shifts — from cheerful skies to looming clouds — capturing the emotional spectrum we all navigate. The crown atop the duck represents a playful elevation of the ordinary — reminding us that everyday moments, like music and companionship, hold regal significance in our lives. Through this piece, I wanted to create something that makes people smile, reflect, and perhaps see a piece of themselves in this surreal, joyous world.
